Help Optimus S will not connect to laptop

I cannot get my Optimus S to connect to my laptop via the USB port (or any USB port). I recently connected and put some music on the phone, but now it simply won't show up. The port is good (I'm using it for a zip drive right now), and Autoplay is working. Still no joy with the phone.

You need to update your USB driver for the phone to get your USB connectivity back. Unfortunately I dont remember the link for the updated driver, but it should be on LGs website. This however will not restore the ability to use a wall charger, that will have to wait until google pulls their head out of their butt. Welcome to the hell that is gingerbread
