Optimus U?

Is the U, the same thing as the S essentially? Have an Optimus U and can't find too much on it

LG has the Optimus series of phones. The letter after it usually is specific for a certain carrier. S is Sprint T is Tmobile Vortex is Verizon. U and all the others are for some other carrier. Pretty much the same phone though.
