Orange line on keyboard

[wrbird]

Does anyone know what the orange line that periodically shows up on the spacebar is for? I have a Pandigital tablet running Android 2.3.

depends on what keyboard you are using, but on Perfect Keyboard, a blue line appears periodically. If you press it, it would enter the highlighted word in the suggested words (prediction) and add a space.
