Help Orange San Francisco won't "mount"

I was given my SanFran in September. Last week it started hanging up and just switching off. I contacted Orange and they sent me a replacement body. All seems well except it won't "mount" to my laptop. As soon as I connected the old one a message came up "mount" or not but with the new one nothing happens. Can't find anything in the manual or the Orange site. Any ideas please?

Seems an obvious question, but are the drivers still installed?

Also, the new one they sent, does it have an SD Card in it? It won't mount unless it has an SD Card (again, apologies if that seems like an obvious suggestion).

Many thanks ElPresidente, absolutely right, no SD card yet! Somehow I managed to lose the old card during the changeover and am waiting for a replacement. Unfortunately neither the manual or the on line help goes into such detail! Thank goodness for the forum!

Ha, received the second handset Friday but it also hung up/switched off so now they have sent a new battery so fingers crossed!
But, now I can't get the new handset to accept an .mp3 ringtone. No problem on the other one. I've tried to send it via bluetooth but it says it dosn't accept this file format?? Most strange!

Again, is there an SD Card in there? :p

Seriously though, if my SD Card isn't mounted and someone sends me a file, I get all sorts of weird error messages.

Thanks again, almost sorted with the SD card, suddenly started working and now seem to be OK, fingers crossed! However, another small niggle now appeared On the old phone I had Bluetooth transferred two Mp3 files for ringtone/notification but this phone won't let me do that. I get the message "The target device claims it will not accept a file of the type you are trying to send."

I have also tried creating a "ringtone" folder on the SD card (DCIM) and pasting the files into it but the "settings" menu doesn't find them. I now have three folders on the card:
100ANDRO
Camera
ringtones

Any suggestions on this please??
