Orange wifi bars

I'm running CM 11 KitKat 4.4.4 on my rooted Nook HD and everything has worked fine for months until a couple of days ago when I noticed I was no longer getting Twitter, Instagram, Messenger or ASKFM and other apps' notifications. I also can't connect to the play store or use google search function. The wifi bars on the pull down quick tiles are orange and I learned this means it isn't connected to google services but it's connected to the internet. I can use the internet and apps fine, except they aren't pushing notifs and as I also said won't connect to play store. Is there anyway to know whether it's Google's problem or what? I've flashed the latest "nightly" and even reset to factory settings. If it helps, a friend of mine using a phone running a different android is also experiencing issues. Thanks!

Just flash the new build that is made . I know its a problem cause the WiFi Dont work. Hey been there done that . just download on your PC /laptop and copy to the SD card . now put the card back into the device turn on and just flash the new download . this will be just as doing a update. If problem still exist just do a full wipe data cache etc. And then install the new ROM and gapps
