Ordered an unlocked gsm nexus :)

Hey guys, im new to the forums (i lurk all the time). I have verizon but my contract is about to end and seeing as they had all those problems with the LTE nexus and with unlimited date coming to a halt i decided it was time. I ordered the phone and i should arrive this coming week! So excited! I did a month to month plan with t-mobile. From everything i have read, I should be able to get HSPA+ on their network with the gsm network right? I looked up the info pertaining to there frequency spectrum and it seems to be ok. Any help with that would be appreciated. Cheers!

Just did the same thing. I am going with the Straight Talk. I have a HTC One X on Straight Talk and am getting HSPA+ with it. I am reasonably confident that the same should hold true with the Nexus.
I really miss the rooting and rom thing and it was just too much of a deal with the One X. Going to keep the Nexus if it works OK. PATIENTLY waited for the VZW version and after i got it only kept it 3 days. Never did work at all. Sure hope the GSM version on AT&T works as most have said it would

The gsm GN is pentaband. It is HSPA+ capable on both AT&T and T-Mobile.
