Root orignal sbf

Is there a way to get the original sbf that droid 3 shipped with? Also, can you edit the leaked sbf to install without the update?
 
The original SBFs are readily available. There is the one that was shipped with the first phones, namely 5.5.959 as well as the updated OTA version (which comes stock on new phones now) at version 5.6.890.

Along with the SBFs are detailed instructions on how to flash them.
