OS ROM...Fully On-Air Flashable???

Howdy All --- in anticipation of hopefully 2.0 coming our way not too long from now, was wondering if the complete operating system ROM is on-air flashable or would we have to do a flash from a downloaded image (flash from SD card)??? I am not sure how big the OS rom is, but just curious.

I have not read any comments that might have come from Sprint/HTC about the process itself.

Comments appreciated -- Thanks :D;)

My friend has a G1 and his updates are pushed OTA to a number of people at a time so as not to overload the towers, but once its available it should also be up for download as well for those who dont want to wait for there turn at the push...

Good point. Well, there are always alternatives. An executable on your PC with your Hero synced-up on USB would work fine too. Well, just anxious to see the upsides we get. Bug fixes and new features. Should be fun.
