OS setting, or Dolphin setting??

Hi all,

I have an HTC One. I installed Dolphin 10.0.1. I used a similar version on my old HTC desire HD and I like it. So there is a website that I am a member of and it has some pretty neat communication tools located within the site that allows you to send and receive messages other members instantly. When I first installed this app, it actually worked better than it did with my old phone. Message notification alerts sounded and also sounded with the phone on standby (screen off and locked) with the browser still running. Suddenly, something changed. Now, the notifications will only be delivered when I have that particular page open on the correct tab. The onsite delivery I think is powered by some java script. I cant find a setting anywhere that I may have inadvertently changed either in the phone settings or within Dolphin itself. So I guess what is happening is that the page is only refreshing while its open and the screen is on. Its like all data stops once the phone goes into standby. Any takers to help would be awesome..

Cheers
D

Ok, so my original post was a little long winded and might have been difficult to understand. Simply, when my phone is in standby mode, my browser stops responding. Actually, it stops responding even when my phone is on the home screen. But once I maximize the browser the messages come through. Other apps like whatsapp work fine with the phone on standby. Im going to try the standard browser and also chrome. See what happens. I just cant find a setting that I have changed by accident within Dolphin that might have affected it because it did work in the beginning..
