I've seen articles - Androidpit had a Newsletter article about Google becoming a carrier. Expect and get more lawsuits.
A lot of people would welcome that.
For myself, none of these practices or ideals is really thrilling. I'd like Google to scare the hell out of the big 2 and make them more consumer friendly. I don't think I'd want to live my life through Google, though. I don't want targeted ads for any necessary item. There was a book out "One Size Doesn't Fit All" I agree. You do your thing, I do mine and we are both satisfied.
