Help OS updated - Notification sound TOO LOUD!

I have an unlocked V20 and just recently updated to Android 8.0. I have my notification volume set to about 30%. Ringer volume set to 100%. So far I've noticed that Facebook does not abide by the notification volume and is extremely loud! What are my options? Do I have to turn off FB sounds via the FB app, is that my only option? Do I have to download a 3rd party app just to handle the notification volume?

I see a way to turn notifications on/off, but no volume. Before the update, the volume was controlled by the phone's notification volume setting.

I have a G6 on 8.0 and I haven't noticed a difference in volumes. You might want to do the basic stuff first like clearing the app caches, clearing the system cache and rebooting the phone. Ultimately you may need to factory reset to get it to behave properly.
