Root OSF on Android 2.2 (JJ), is there a better version?

Hi All,

I've replaced my Orange ROM with JJ 2.2, which has removed a load of the Orange pointless clutter - but are there better or later versions of Android available for the OSF?

I think battery life may be a bit of an issue and I plan to use BlueTooth soon which will, presumably, hoover up power.

Thanks, now I have ridded myself of the O software I think swapping between roms is easy... hopefully.

Where would the best place be to download the Modaco R12 from?

Reg., Roy

FLB R10 working great for me too. FLB's R9 was also good and he is working on releasing R11 in due course when some wifi issues and some battery issues (not his rom - seems to be apps use?) have been sorted.

Hi
Just spotted the issue above with wifi on FLB R10.
I have just plunged for an OSF already flashed with FLB R10 as my first Android, (coming from a Blackberry) and generally find it impressive for the money.....except for the poor wifi reception and dropping connection if i go further than 3-4m away from my home router.

I saw another thread somewhere where a guy fixed some foil strips behind the case to improve reception, is this a real fix or is it a particular issue with this Rom ?
Thanks in advance.....

I used this, AppBrain link for Blade WiFi Fix.

Just installs, no need to do anything else.

I'm on Swedish Spring ROM, but had an issue in my house, with a router and a Homeplug Wireless AP, different channels, same SSID's.

I found it fixed the problem.....hope this helps.
