Ok I see that LG has updated the Leon to 10f software. I still have not gotten an OTA update from them. Started on 12b, rooted, installed TWRP, made a backup. When CM12.1 came out I installed it and one day went into recovery and forgot to make another backup. I had to flash the 10d kdz to unbrick. Since then I have not ever seen an OTA update. I like the 10d version, but I think I would have seen an update from them already.
 
I have actually updated to the 10F via KDZ from devtesters site.after enabling OEM unlock,the method posted for 10E by @CamoHiddenDJ still works. Please note im on TMobile USA and i have no idea what the availability is like for other carriers.

The only concern I would have about doing a kdz style update would be that the unlock device app would show back up. Metro's Leon has yet to see a OTA update. Still haven't seen one.
