Help OTG Help

I have an android phone with 4.4.2 that support otg. Recently i bought Seagate backup plus slim hdd of 1 tb capacity. I want to use it through otg with my android smartphone. The problem is that it is preformatted in NTFS format . Android support fat32 format . So, how to format to fat32 . I have two laptops one running on windows 7 and other on windows 8. Thanks.

Ah, just looked this up (not a Windows person) and see that the problem is that Win7 only formats drives up to 32GB as fat32. But this discussion seemed to have an answer: http://www.sevenforums.com/hardware...t-my-external-hd-drive-into-fat32-format.html. If not I'm sure there are other solutions on the web.

A hard drive will need a power source before you can use it with a phone, as the phone's USB won't supply enough power for a spinning disk.
