I have a video to go with it.

Thank you OverByte and Leslie Ann for replying to my support question.
I flashed this rom here: from Anthrax website
Anthrax Development - Home of the first custom shooter ICS kernel
Install stickmount.apk along with formating my usb to fat32.
*Mounted successfully.
*Keyboard works successfully
*USB wireless mouse seems to not work? but will try with a wired as I do have one.
*I am also wondering if OTG works with webcams? As I do have 3 different brands of webcams.
-----Microsoft LifeCam Studio 1080p, a Logitech 320p cam, and lastly a Playstation 3 Webcam.-----
I inserted the webcam to usb hub port one by one but skype doesn't support my cams.
Maybe there is another app or something like a kernel I suppose. Sorry if this is over doing the phone. I'm just thinking what works and what doesn't work in the usb devices.

OLD UPDATED POST: 11/29/12 IGNORE THIS POST PART. Read above how I solved it.
Now that I am S-OFF and can downgrade/UPGRADE HBOOT.
I downgraded to 1.04 but can upgrade it as well.
I have been looking at HTC EVO 3D roms on XDA developer site such as
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30014044&postcount=7

This one seems to be supported so I'll test it.
http://anthrax-kernels.us/forum/showthread.php?t=200

I found this one amoung the searching on xda.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1673430&highlight=htc+evo+otg

Another thing is that would I need to flash a OTA? or is that included with the rom.
sorry I'm a newbie. I followed Leslie Ann's guide but wasn't sure if it would have radio problems cause it's on a virgin mobile even though it's from Sprint?

OLD POST: I found more info. Read above text. ^
I am using Leslie Ann's Harmonia rom 3.17 and flashed Mobster Power Kernel. I'm thinking to myself I messed up by flashing Mobster. I believe I need to flash/install anthrax. I'm using TWRP 2.2...

Would I need to find a OTG supported kernel and flash that with Harmonia?
I have 2 OTG with Female ends like in the video and they do charge my phone but when I use stick mount it can't detect my 2GB usb drive?

Samsung Galaxy S2 - How to use Pen Drive, USB Mouse, OTG Cable, USB Jig, Call Recorder - YouTube

Using htc v 4g with 32 GB.
Skype me to help? just post here and i'll add you. Thank you have a nice one.

All i'm trying to do is get my usb keyboard to work and mouse etc...

I don't know if Mobsters kernel supports otg, Anthrax definitely does, to get it you have 2 options, either sign up on the Anthrax site or use the Midnight rom which has it included. Also on your sd card make a folder called usb all lower case, depending on your rom you may also need the stickmount app.

Ok thank you. I'll try Midnights rom 1.3.7 then. I'll post a feed back.

Harmonia comes with Power Kernel, and no, it does not support OTG.

I use Power Kernel in the rom because it allows Harmonia to be more universal, but those who want USB OTG, will have to change it. Both are kind of at odds with each other, and Harmonia's premise, but due to the whole needing to be s-off thing, i feel this was the best solution.

Thanks for all the support. I don't need to HBOOT. I did go back to original HBOOT 1.57 on my phone.
After some morning research I manage to find the right rom on the website.
Link is in first post.
PROBLEM SOLVED pretty much for OTG USB devices.

Glad you got it. :)

Wireless mice often need a driver (as do webcams), try bluetooth or a wired mouse, it should work. Some of the more common wireless mice may also work, but I wouldn't count on it for stock based roms. If you can load the drivers for this stuff it can probably work, but in the case of the webcam, you still may need an app designed to use an external camera rather than the built in.

Also, Stickmount comes on Harmonia 3.17.

Installing drivers on Android was what I was afraid of.
I've never made a android application before but seen tutorials and know it's a challenge without some understanding.
I did read that you would need something like an UVC or Usb video capture / V4L2 or something along that abbreviation. I also did search for some sources

This part is beyond my comprehension as I am not a programmer or coder much to use these. I did find a post on here for Jelly Bean Cam Port

Code:
 http://androidforums.com/evo-v-4g-all-things-root/641336-jellybean-4-2-cam-port.html

I do agree that it's not simple from me reading on howto make it compatible for every webcam or cam out there. Correct me if I'm wrong here.
