Root Other Notification LED?

On the top, where the speaker is on the front of our Evos, we have one LED that changes from red to green while charging and showing off notifications when off the charger.

When I moved over to AOSP ROMs like CM7 and MIUI, I noticed that they acted differently than Sense ROMs in that they showed me that there is a second LED on the other side of the phone. I liked having this one because it would blink when I would have a text, e-mail, missed call, voicemail, or other notifications even when on the charger. Right now on MikG, there is only one LED that shines and that is the one on the left hand side when you are facing the front of the phone.

Is there any way to activate this second LED? It worked before so I know that my Evo has one but I have yet to find an app or something in the Settings that allows for this to be enabled.

here is a thread that might help...
How to use WiMAX LED on HTC EVO for SMS/MMS notifications!

To anyone wondering...I was playing around with my third-party messaging app "HandCent" and found out an interesting feature that has to do with this.

There is an option in the "notifications" area where you can set (if your phone is rooted) to enable a secondary LED. It doesn't specify what phones or anything but it does mention that it is only for rooted devices. I have yet to try it but for anyone wondering and using the app...it's there.

I tried the link this morning. It downloaded, but my phone said it was a bad zip.

Try downloading it again. Perhaps you just got a bad download. My first download worked. I did it from the QR code from my phone too and not downloading to computer then transfer to phone.
