Root other roms

since this phone is having problems with cyanogenmod, is there any other rom that we can use besides cyanogenmod like oxygen rom or mokee rom, or paranorma rom? ill test any of these roms on the sister phone to see if it can be done. hopefully when a rom can be built so we can build cyanogenmod for it.lets scope these other roms out
 
I'm working on cyanogenmod, giving me a hard time but I'm slowly making progress give me some time, also once we have CM working other ROMs will follow fast

i understand. i tried to compile one myself but it wouldnt compile. it was for my rush, the sister phone for it. i did compile cwm for it but it needs more work on it. that way i can get a more thorough way of compiling a rom.

this is for the reverb i know. but will it work on the rush as well
 
Yeah, I'll make the reverbs tree compatible with the rush once it works on the reverb, basically a kernel change and a few other things are all thats needed

ummm...just a thought, but shouldn't it just flash right on over w/out the kernel changes? just some build prop edits and some updater-script edits?

I meant to quote Dark_Samus, but i also didn't want to go back...lazy!!!
 
Lol well IG it should. I mean I think he built a kernel for this phone but yeah it should work. I'll wait on a nightly build for the rush when bugs are done on the reverb
 
i wonder how cyanogenmod is coming along for this device? how many more fixes were put in place for it to work? either way ill be happy when it comes out.
 
dark_samus i understand that cm10 isnt booting thanks to the ramdisk. is there a way to build the rom and replace the files of the library that make it function with the stock files from a stock jelly bean? is it possible or was that already done with that for this device?
