Yeah, I received the e-mail also. What's funny is just yesterday I received a response back saying they weren't to sure.

I too ordered the seidio, but it looks like a sweet case, so I will see what it ends up being like. I'm sure otterbox saw what they were doing and released as fast as possible. Notice they only have a pic of the phone, that means it will be a while before the actual case comes out!
 
I also got an email reply just this morning saying that they weren't sure if they were going to make a case yet, but that they had a lot of requests.

This is awesome news! Glad I haven't started buying accessories yet!
 
I took my body glove case back tonight so I can get the Otterbox. I can not wait for this case to come out.
 
I love how they went from "We're not even sure we will" to "We're releasing all three!" in the matter of a few hours in my Gmail inbox lol.

I wish there were some YouTube videos of an HD2 commuter so I could get a better look at the breakdown.

Also, aren't the buttons on the front of the Evo capacitive? how will they handle that with button coverage for the Commuter/Defender?
 
Awesome! I just sent them an e-mail today saying that I hoped they were making one because I was thinking of going with Seido unless they had plans. I'll definitely wait for otterbox.
 
They don't even have Incredible cases yet, it's probably going to take them a couple of months. Looks like with the iPad they have the design, and that one is still coming soon.

There loss, I'm going to go ahead and order the Seidio

I have a temporary gel case which I purchased at the Sprint Store.

I will however still purchase the Otterbox when they begin selling them. Seido is very sleek, but for protection, there is no comparison.

It won't be here for a long time. The Incredible was launched on April 19 and there is still no Otterbox in sight. The Evo was launched in June. Maybe Christmas?
 
I talked to a customer service rep the other day and he stated they are taking care of the IPhone4 first before they put out any for the EVO seeing as they have sold more of those then ours.
 
I won't buy a seidio case again..I bought one for my palm pre I had before my evo,and I had to replace the case 5 times within 2 months....the clips constantly broke...and the seidio scratches up the the edges of the phone ..so be careful when using this case
