I have read many threads about Otterbox cases, and I have used otterbox. But, I want to keep the sleek look of my evo 4g lte for now, and looking for the case that's less bulky. I wanted to try new cases and found this one as I look at Steinheil screen protector.

Both cases have an opening for kickstand, SPIGEN Snap case is more affordable and slim, but Otterbox has more reputation. Which one would you recommend?

Otterbox Defender: Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE Case
SGP Snap on Case: HTC EVO 4G LTE Snap Case Series - EVO 4G LTE - HTC - Cell Phones

I think it's more about application than reputation.

The Defender is thicker for the same reason it's softer, it targets rough treatment.

The sleek hard case is about protecting the finish.

Choose whichever fits your needs in a case would be my advice, as neither approach is wrong.

That's more comparable to the Otterbox Commuter or Seidio Surface. You might want to take a look at those instead of the Defender.
