Even with a full Gig More RAM in a side by side Quadrant test the Motion wins one, the S3 wins one. Interesting that the Motion finishes Both tests quickest.
(Of course, this is probably STILL completely lost on whoever it is that's convinced themselves the Avid is better than the Motion. )

S3 has more processes to run in the background & a heavier overlay

The smaller screen on the Motion helps too.
I.e running pc games on lower resolutions to squeeze out more FPS
