Root [OUDHS] Clockworkmod Recovery 6.0.1.9

Hi Guys,

I'm having issues with Odin crashing as soon as i hit start. I'm assuming this is because I cant get the program to run under administrator credentials on XP Home. Every time I try to do so I get an error message. Is there any workaround for this, or just to do this on a PC with a newer/better OS?

any one figure out what bloatware is safe to remove yet?Also i can't get anything to move to extsd. I've tride acouple differant apps. ( link2Sd,Directory bind....ex.) the values on storage just don't make sense when i check

So i guess i bought my phone too late to get the root that worked before. Is there a way to get root access now along with SU. not looking for kernels or roms just root. i would like to get tether and adobe flash installed. i have odin and the files that needed along with the .tar file that doesnt work... so if possible i would like to know where to find a working .tar for cwm or another way to get this phone rooted. i also have the stock recovery file..i havent tried it out as yet for issues.. i want root access.. thanks to anyone that can point me in the right...i mean RIGHT direction..or at least tell me that im wasting my time untill a working cwm is available...
 
if someone could post a stock backup from the new working cwm i'd very much appreciate it. i'd hate to flash the phone again. dont ask where my backup went, i got stupid lol

oh quick question just to be clear on this, once rooted we're ok to go ahead and and do the ota updates, or should we avoid those (if so is there an easy way to disable it?)
 
The ota updates will break root, but you can then just reinstall cwm with Odin and reflash the superuser package. Odin is the alpha and omega with Samsung phones. As long as you have Odin, no update will prevent root
 
once you get cwm installed,how do i get su on sd card for root? doesnt show the removable disk like on the prevail when u send to removable disk.
 
odined root stock. got ota update from samsung and supersu and busybox didnt seem to work. Guess il odin root stock again and no ota updates. usb mass storage you posted works great on my rush.Thanks again!
 
Hey im having problems rooting my galaxy rush :( so can someone help me ? Like are the instructions above the right ones? Please help cause i really need the wifi.....also im with boost mobile.
 
The instructions are correct and those are the working files. Can you be more specific on where you are having trouble?
 
I can' wait to root my rush but my computer is broken, is there anyway to root without pc? I've tried other ways like z4 root and flashin in stock but its not possible I get E: failed to intall invalid signature something like that . I guess the best way to root is using CWM but like I said my computer is broken. Can i flash CWM with out pc? I think is possible I read a post at XDA forums about flashing CWM , temporary CWM image just to get root is stock doen't work.what i want is just get superuser access for those apps that needs root and to get MSL, apparently I cant get it without root . I dont want to waste my time calling boostmobile its easier this way!

Any help would be appreciated!

I have rooted my rush....... but it says ad-hoc mode failed and all the other apps doesnt work or say not sprint hotspot..... how do i fix that?
