Our Groceries- multiple stores?

Hi,

I've been using Our Groceries on my Xoom for several months now and love it. I want to try a new store but when I went to create a list for it it looks as though I can't create aisles just for that store. It seems that I'm stuck using the same aisle set up from my first store. Is there a way I'm not seeing for individualizing aisles per store?

Hi Nancy, I have the Our Groceries app installed on my android phone, and unless, I'm using a different version than you, I don't see that this app uses aisles or stores for that matter. It splits the stores up by using shopping lists instead. Are you sure, you are speaking about the "Our Groceries" app and not the Grocery IQ app, which does use different stores/aisles as you indicated?

Yes, it's Our Groceries. I'd like to be able to have different lists for different stores but be able to customize the aisles within each list.

I'm not seeing "aisles" in my version, either. There are DEPARTMENTS, but not aisles.

Maybe I'm not wording this well. I have 2 lists, store 1 and store 2. Within each list I can add labels, on my xoom they're called categories. Sounds like on other devices they're called something else? For my purposes they are aisle names (produce, bakery, meat, etc). I'd like those categories or departments or whatever to be different for each list. Is that possible?

Maybe there are 2 different Our Groceries apps?

Ok, I see how you are doing things. You are naming each grocery list as the store name and the categories as the aisles. What you are trying to do isn't possible with the Our Groceries app. Take a look at the Grocery IQ app. It does exactly what you are trying to do. You can even arrange the aisles for each store as they appear.

Shoot! I was using grocery IQ but found that I could not change the names of the aisles. I would change them then they'd just revert back to their old names the let time i'd go on.
