Hi
I was using Vodafones 360 email server to send email from my phone using various email addresses. Sadly they have discontinued this server.
I cannot use my home broadband smtp server as they restrict this to devices connected to their network so I need an alternative server to send email from.. both at home and when out on my mobile.
Vodafone suggested using Gmail as my server which I have done but sadly anyone replying sends to my gmail acount which I would prefer kept seperate.
I did use the gmail option to send from a different address. Sending mail from a different address - Gmail Help but all this has done is added another line to outboud email..
Bradden [***@gmail.com]; on behalf of; Bradden [***@***.com] (* used to avoid my address being spammed)
This is less than ideal!
Can someone please tell me if there are any alernative free email servers I can use which will let me send email through them and all replies to be sent back to the same account without the mess that goodgle (understandably) insists on.
I understand that most other mobile networks have a server for their customer to use.. and you can bet that I'll be switching once my contract allows me.
Thanks
