Outdate HTC notification list

Hi

Have look every where for a solution and was kind of hoping someone here can help. I have a htc wildfire phone. I have figured out how use my own mp3's for a notification sound. But I have found when I change my mind and delete the mp3 I no longer want (in this case I created a shortened version of it and want to get rid of the original). I have deleted the file off my phone but it continues to show up on the notification list. How do I get it off this list??

Hi Natlett and welcome to Android Forums!

If you have a file manager like Astro, navigate into your Notifications folder and make sure that there isn't anything left there with that title. If there is, long-press the filename and delete it. If that doesn't help, we'll try something else.

You will also enjoy spending time here:

There you will meet other friendly Wildfire users who can help you master your device.

It's great to have you here :)

I have the file manager called astro I have checked the notification folder, its does not have any record of the two files I have deleted but are still listed in the notification list, and I have tried the other but cant seem to get it to work. Long press to delete has not effect on the notification list. Thanks
