Outgoing Call Waiting Notification

I have a Desire HD. With my previous phone, a Nokia, when I called someone who was already on another call I got a notification saying "You are on Call Waiting". So I knew whether or not that other person was on another call everytime I called them.

I havent heard of any app which addresses this issue with my Desire HD. If anyone else out there knows any better let me know please.

Which model of Nokia handset offered that feature?

I would have thought that it was more likely to be a service provider feature.

It was the E71 model but Im with the same service provider.

Its not just the service provider who needs to have such notifications sent to phone , the phone also needs to support them .
I used a Nokia N73, 5800 and Nexus One and HTC desire . This is a problem with Android devices because Nokia devices worked fine.
Android doesn't support , that's a feature yet to be seen. If you see such a feature in any version of android please post it here.

Assuming the person you're calling is not using one of those godawful ringback tones, you'll hear a short "boop" sound at the end of each ring on Verizon Wireless if you're on call waiting.
