Outgoing server settings talktalk on virgin

With talktalk for broadband and e mail. Virgin mobile for mobile phone.

I'm fine receiving e mail on my samsung S2phone but been completely beaten in trying to send e mails

I'm with Virgin mobile for my mobile but have a talktalk email address and broadband at home.

"Use G mail" I hear you shout. Na. I just want one email account for all my mails. Surely if we can get a nuclear robot on Mars this is achievable.

I've tried without success to use smtp.virgin.net and mail.virgin.net in my outgoing server settings to no avail. One error message or another.

Anyone know what is required please?

If no one knows the answer I'm led to believe I can route my replies on my phone via g mail and when the recipient receives the e mail it will appear with my talktalk address for reply ... Or is it something different to that?

Save me from a nervous breakdown somebody please?

Thanks for that .... Getting warmer ... But surprise surprise ... virgin isn't mentioned

forward all mail from many accounts to one gmail account, problem solved.

and VM doens't give out email addresses that I know of, so you would not use them as your out going mail server, you use the out goin mail server of who ever your email is with.



doesn't even have to match if you got a good password n log in.


I use one of my domains mail servers for out going, but incoming is a different place.
