Outlook Calendar

It's Samsung's task planner. I don't think it relates to your question.

Have you added your outlook account, under Accounts, and played with the Settings under it? What have you tried so far?

I could be mistaken, but I believe with the 4.1.1 JB update, the calendar app was renamed from S Planner to Calendar. So it's just the stock Calendar app.

As far as Outlook synchronization goes, unless your Outlook is connected to an Exchange server, the best option may be to install Kies for Windows.

SAMSUNG KIES

I've not used it that way, but I believe you can sync via wifi, without having to plug the Tab into the PC that runs Oulook and Kies.

If you do use an Exchange server (mostly used by businesses) for e-mail, your Outlook calendar would be set up for sync'ing when your e-mail was set up, if the Exchange server was running Outlook Web Access.
 
I set up my computer to sync Outlook with Google calendar and I set up my Tab to sync with Google calendar. All of my appointments show up on any device and are available from any internet connected device and can thus be updated at work, at home, or on the go.

I'm sorry to get your hopes up. Evidently google sync isn't available any more. I just read that as of 1/30/13 it can no longer be installed on devices and that google will no longer support it except for paid google business aps. It continues to work for me, but I have no idea for how long.

If you want to use the google calendar INSTEAD of outlook, you can use the default calendar on the tab, go into the menu for sync settings and have it sync with your google account.
 
There are 3rd party apps that go direct from Outlook to Galaxy tab. They don't depend Google Sync (which is going away). CompanionLink is one option. The free trial works for 14 days if you just need to move your Calendar.
