Outlook.com - notification query

Hi all,

First time poster but anyone know if it's possible for the outlook.com app to notify of emails that are automatically forwarded to folders? It seems to issue notifications for the inbox emails only.

The rating on outlook is down to 2.2, I just got it working after a Week since I switched from hotmail by force. During that time period I gave up and tried the free mail clients and put my account in K9 till Microsoft updates outlook to function better.
