I have been using an LG G3 for a few months now, with Lollipop. My screen got screwed up, bleeding colors, so I got a new phone. The replacement uses Marshmallow. I have an Outlook account that synced perfectly on Lollipop, but not on Marshmallow. I have tried every commonly used solution that I can find on various forums. Previously, I was able to add my Outlook account in as a Microsoft Exchange account even though it isn't technically a corporate account, but the same settings won't work on Marshmallow...no settings seem to work. I *really* want my Outlook calendar on my phone's default calendar and widget, since I like that widget way over all other calendars, and I have used Hotmail for years, so all the recurring events are on that calendar, but I can't get my Outlook into the phone in a way that the calendar recognizes it; it worked fine on Lollipop. I also can't seem to import the settings for the default email app, which I like because it's the only client that shows me a live notification on the homescreen icon. I like to open my homescreen and see how many of what kind of messages I have as well as the weather and calendar all at a glance. Lollipop let me do that, but Marshmallow wont. I have managed to get my Outlook contacts into my phone contacts. I only have a Gmail account because Android requires it. I like Google search and maps, and that's about it.
