OUTLOOK DARK MODE

Speaking of apps, does any experts here, and I assume many, today get an update on the OUTLOOK email app specifying dark mode?
I ask because it flashes black when opening and is white when open. The update says its slowly rolling out.
Maybe it's a partial update.
Does yours flash black or stay dark?

are you sure it is from outlook, this update? there is a dark mode that came with the pie update, but it is all across android and not just outlook

hmmmm found this:

it was leaked in july and now officially on microsfts blog:

so that article is from a few days ago on Aug 28th......so it looks like it might be a while for it to be officially released. i did not see an official date for rollout for dark mode.
