just picked up my EVO and so far it's pretty cool. when i configured my gmail email, it automatically downloaded contacts from gmail to my phone. i don't really use gmail/google sync but those contacts were in there from when i had a palm pre i believe. anyway, i use outlook to sync contact, notes, calender etc.. so if i now sync via outlook/htc sync, will i have double entries (nothing worse than 500 double entries).. dont' want to do it until i know for sure.. also, i can erase the contacts and turn off sync in google/gmail cant i and then sync via outlook to not get duplicates.. thanks for the help.
