outlook sync w/ SS tablet 8 using kies

I have all my contacts and calendar on MS Outlook 2007, I use office 2007 and windows 7-64bit. I"m trying to sync using Kies...my outlook to my samsung tablet 8 with android 4.1.2. I just got the tablet so this is the first load - one way from desktop to tablet.

my contacts sync fine. but the schedule goes thru preparing to sync fine, but when it starts syncing, it stops, tells me device not ready and to reboot it. I've rebooted the tablet and the desktop multiple times but nothing. it's just not letting me sync.

Help. and i don't want to shift to google for my own personal reasons.

help...i even reinstalled kies...but to no avail

Since you have gone ahead and registered, your best bet is to search in the sub-forum specific to your device, just in case someone else has already started a thread about your problem. If that doesn't work, start a new thread there.
