outtgoing calls not going properly

I have an Android Samsung Galaxy S3 mini. Whenever I try to make an outgoing call on my cell phone, it brings up skype to make a call. I never want to make outgoing calls with skype. How do I turn this off and set it back to using my cell carrier to make the call?

Go into the settings, select Apps, then select Skype. Look for a button labelled "clear defaults" (may have to scroll down to see it). Click that.

When you have 2 apps which can handle an operation, android will ask which one you wish to use. When selecting you have the option to use that app "just once" or "every time" - if you inadvertently selected "every time" then it won't ask in future unless you clear the setting (which is what the instructions above do).
