Help Over Drive Error code 2004

I bought T-Mobile G-Slate and was trying to configure Over drive to authorize with Adobe ID. When I try to authorize i get an error ERROR ACTIVATING THE DEVICE WITH ADOBE. E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED (ERROR CODE 2004)

I also looked at some other websites and few have commented to set the time date setting to manual, I tried all that but cant make this work. I need Over drive since My local library allows us to checkout ebooks.

I would appreciate any help/tips to fix this issue.

It has something to do with the time/date settings on the device. If you have network time enabled, disable it; if you are set to manual time, switch to auto. This resolved the problem for me.

I was getting the same error message, it was the time setting, I had to turn 'on' Automatic Date and Time, then it allowed me to login with the Adobe sign in.
