Help Overall custom ringtone

I have a Sprint Samsung Epic Touch. I do find an option to add a custom ringtone for a specific Contact.

Is there no way to add an overall Custom ringtone for every contact no matter who calls?? I have more than 300 contacts and I do not want to spend my time assigning a custom ringtone for every contact.

Any ideas??

In your phone settings you can go into your sound settings and select any default custom ringtone you want. Then make sure the custom tone for all your contacts is set for default.

I looked in the Sound Settings and it only shows me a list of preset ringtones that come with the phone. I do not see any additional ringtones.

Do I need to add the custom mp3 ringtones I have created to a special folder on the Epic? If I do that will they show up in the list of ringtones under Sound Settings?

There are other ways to do this, including using certain apps to allow you to pick whatever you want (installing handcent as an example will enable this). But if you don't want to deal with apps you can create a folder for ringtones /sdcard/MEDIA/audio/ringtones and place the file there, it should then appear in the ringtone list.

You can also check out Zedge in the market to download ringtones. After you've got one or some ringtones downloaded, the next time you go into your settings to choose a ring, it should ask you if you want to choose from system or Zedge ringtones...
