I haven't noticed any lag. This phone is great because it has a gigs worth of onboard space for apps so I don't need to do the apps on sd crap. Its the first phone that I like stock out of the box. Well I'd like to remove all the metro crap but with this space, I don't need to. Except the easywifi nonsense. I'd love this to be rooted if only to install apps that control power and internet usage. The 4g drains your battery after a while. I'd like setcpu to not overclock it but underclock it when necessary.
I can play games my admire couldn't before. I can watch any and all flash videos. The screen is a big improvement over the Admire's, which if you look, has noticeable lines going across it when you a/b them together.
You can change the font natively. There's a front facing camera that is webcam quality at least, good for whatever I guess. Maybe when I get into video chatting. Androidlost works well with it so I can see whos messing with my phone heh.
It doesnt have gorilla glass so I felt it unsafe to use without a screen protector in case it glitches up and needs to be returned. Reiko makes a case for this phone that actually covers the buttons at the bottom. Which is important because they are physical buttons that stick out a bit and that looks like a potential weak spot. My case covers them and looks sharp as hell.
This phone was glitchy when I first got it. Connection totally shutting off and media scanner coming on nonsense. It was a pain. It was like a partial restart almost. I reset it to factory settings and I haven't had a problem since. I bought insurance for this phone because I know it'll be phased out in a year and I can get an upgrade to whatever new model is comparable to it.
I got this phone instead of the LG Connect because it is the same size factor as my admire, had 4g, is fast and seemingly stable, and also because the lg connect has had a lot of overheating issues. As hot as bathwater that you wouldn't want to get in. I didn't want that headache from metro's first dual processor phone so maybe next time around. I also can tether this to my laptop and I could barely tell the difference between my wifi connection and the phone. My cousin watches video all the time on her attain while we drive places. I use mine as a stand in for a car stereo.
