just rooted my phone yesterday and im having trouble overclocked my razr. i watched a video with a guy who overclocked his razr aorund 1.4-1.5ghz. im using setCPU but the max CPU i can do is the stock 1.2. someone told me i need to flash a kernel but i have not studied that area yet. anyone know how to?

I too looked into overclocking this phone coming from an LG optimus m where overclocking was essential to have a great phone. Personally ive yet to need this phone oc'ed. Plus theres a "locked bootloader" on the razr's that prevent over, underclocking.
Ask yourself if your phone needs it or not.
Ive rooted, rommed, and played heavily with this razr, and now im back to .181 stock unrooted(waiting on 4.0 update) and have a great phone.

There is probably ways to oc but the 2 methods i tried(and forgot) didnt work.
