Root Overclockable Kernel on XDA...Legit?

I toyed with it for a while. it boots and works... as does overclocking, but I was haveing boot issues north of 1.3 GHz and so on so I went back to stock kernel
 
I have it installed now, no problems whatsoever, OC'd to 1.9.
Wait, Wi-Fi is being weird. Turned on ok, wouldn't pick up any networks, then wouldn't turn off. I rebooted and now it connected to my Wi-Fi, but it wont load any content.
Now, settings FC's when trying to get into the Wireless and Networks menu.

Try lowering the cpu speed? Does 3g work for you?
 
So I just installed the kernel and everything works great and I set the cpu to 1.4ghz and got a Quadrant score of 2082.

I too had some oddities with wifi my first go round. I`m in an area without 3g and was in a building with no coverage at the time I was testing it so I can`t comment on the data. I might fidgit with it again later
 
Over clocked to 1900, quadrant score of 2400+ temp has gone up very quickly and my wifi and blue tooth are borked. Also as most of you know the home and menu buttons are switched. Otherwise this is awesome!

Glad to know I am not alone. Exact same problems.

Were your Mobile Network settings automatically filled out? On mine, I cannot overclock, and I have no idea how to get 3G working, as all of the Mobile Network settings are blank.

3g worked on boot for me. I didn't wipe any data or anything when I installed it.
 
I can't believe anyone would want to overclock this phone with i'ts already questionable quality,and seeing the radios are not up to par, that doing it bonks the radios,i see a lot of paperweights coming from this.

I dont know about anyone else, but quality is not a problem for me. The phone and the radios on it work pretty damn good. I just went from OC kernal to stock kernal and everything is back to normal. No problems.

Never understood all the quality questions coming from people who dont own the phone.....
 
I think he flashed a gsm rom and not the kernel that is why the radio does not and will not work. What i posted on xda was the kernel from doomlord for a very very very similar phone wich is cdma so the radio would work.

I flashed Andro-id_signed_v3.3-rc2.zip and then ideosX6_DooMKernel-v01.zip ... is that not correct?
