Root overclocking

Sorry if this has been covered. i have been searching.

i have phiremod 6.1.

what is a safe overclock speed? i want to increase for fun, but also dont want to start a fire.

on a side note i thought i already asked this somewhere but couldnt find where i did.

Assuming you have the latest OC kernel from here:
Index of /dalingrin/kernels/test_builds
(the 4/24 build)
you can go to 1300 mhz. I kept mine at 1200 and haven't had any trouble, but as long as you don't enable "set on boot" at first you can always test yours at 1300 mhz and see if it's stable! The worst it will do is lock up.

im seeing a min setting and a max setting, the max i can put on max is 1100. what should i put the min on?

Leave min on 300 or you'll experience shorter battery life.

Are you guys running off SD card? I am and I can't even get the OPTION to oc past 925. Help! And his do I install onto internal memory is there really a speed difference? Sorry for going a bit off topic there

There's kernels for emmc and for sd card. You need to install the one that matches your setup.

If you're using Kernel Manger Lite, that's only for emmc.
