Overclocking

I recently got the ICS update for my HTC Incredible S, and the phone seems to be a lot slower, so now i want to overclock my phone, but i'm not quite sure how to do it. Can i just root it with superoneclick and then install SetCpu? Or what to do?

Have you tried performing a factory reset on your device to see if this resolves the issue? Sometimes these types of things happen with software updates.

no i haven't yet tried to reset the phone, because I don't want to loose it all if there is a easier way to make it faster .
