Help Overnight battery drains 50-70%

I returned my HTC One X for the same reason. Now four days into the GS3, the same issue. Last night and the night before the battery drained 50% and 70%, respectively, sitting on my kitchen table. Wifi and Data are turned off, power saving on. The biggest drain according to the battery manager is "cell standby". Is this just an android ICS issue that everyone has and do I just need to leave it on the charger at night? The first two days I had the phone it lost 2-5% overnight, so I cant understand what changed. I know this has been gone over many times before but I'm new to android and want to know if there's a fix for this.

Strange, I've been monitoring my overnight drain and like you have data/wifi off. Don't use the power saving though.

Max drain has been 2-3% but predominately 1%.

I leave data on overnight and the most I've seen my battery drain was 5-6%... Do you have a screenshot of your power consumption? Any widgets or applications installed that possible are causing battery leaks in the background?

I keep my wifi on during the night. I experienced a drop last night from 66% to 61% and that is with an email coming through sometime throughout the night. I am now at 55% on just under 16 hours on battery. Have you tried turning off power saver and keeping wifi on?

It looks like you may have a spotty 4G signal. One screen shot has 3 bars but the other has 1. if you can, try switching to 3G only (at least at night) and see if that helps.

Is there a setting on the AT&T SGS3 somewhere to turn 4G off and go to just 3G? I do tend to have only 1 bar or so of signal inside my house...I wonder if the phone could be burning battery looking for a signal?

Also, before sleeping, I cleared the RAM and confirmed I had no Active Programs running in task manager. If I look at Application Manager (under settings) there are probably two dozen things running including maps, media hub, email, yahoo finance, weather channel, s voice, etc.

Tonight I will leave wifi on and see if there's a difference. If all else fails, I'll do a factory reset and test it then, perhaps there's an app in there somewhere doing this while the phone is idle.
