Override charge light

Anyone know of an app that will override the charge light when a noticing comes in? I have the phone on silent and rely on the notification light for emails.

I tried it and it works just as described.

Unfortunately though when the phone is plugged in and the charging light is on, it does not blink with a notification.

What I need is an app that will override the charging light when a notification arrives.
