OXYGEN O/S

I'd be ok if it is pretty vanilla to be fair, I like stock Android so if it's that with even minor tweaks I'd be happy enough.

I'll try it for sure :D (CM is rather bloody good though)
 
They've leaked some screenshots of OxygenOS, nothing too exciting--just the app drawer and weather app.

I'm decidedly not a fan of this look.

Apparently we're expecting the OS to be released Feb 12.

These are pictures of H2O ROM for the Chinese market, not oxygen. Feb 12 us just an update, not the release.

This news seems to have met with mixed reaction online lol.
Tbh I don't think I've ever flashed a PA rom nor am I member of their g+ community so idk the peeps involved or their work so I'm "without opinion" and I suppose we'll find out "soon" what they've come up with :thumbsupdroid:

I gave PA a test drive on the OPO a while back.
A lot of U/I options,which are nice & from what I remember,very intuitive/well-thought out.
Nice part about it was the ROM was light weight & use what you like & forget the rest.
Hopefully the same applies to OXYGEN O/S.
 
Hey Andy did you end up getting yours from oneplus? 64gb? How much it skin you? I really regret not paying the extra 50qid for the extra storage.
Gonna get an otg though once I'm rooted and a flash drive to keep nandroids and stuff.

Back on topic. Will cm12s be an ota and oxygen will be a flashable zip?
 
Oxygen is mainly developed for the India phones and I am not sure how they are going to roll that out there. I agree that CM12s will be an OTA for us and Oxygen should be flashable. I don't see either one tempting me away from my sabermodded Slim with Layers though.
 
I really hope opo drop an easier way to unlock their bootloader for color (I know I know it's supposedly easy but not for me)

Suspect first install will be via pc... Then subsequent updates will be ota.. So if you have cm11s you'll get cm11s otas if you install oxygen from then on you'll get oxygen otas

Phone just arrived... Ordered last Tuesday on the no invite sale... Which is currently open at the moment... Went for the 64 version at 269 can't wait to get home to play with it... But don't tell my note ii ;)
