Help P9 video editing

Hi,
I have recently purchased the Huawei P9, and I don't appear to be able to edit videos once recorded.

Does anyone know if this is incorrect or actual 100% facts?

It appears to be quite a silly thing if it isn't included

It appears to be accurate, I'm affraid. Tested on my new P9, and no luck. May I suggest Google Photos, both for editing the movie as well as all the other goodies following.

Well at least you can set the portion of a slow motion video that you want to actually be in slow motion. But you can't save it (unless you save it to Google+ and use that service exclusively to watch it). I tried a number of apps to be able to just save it and the first that seemed to allow you to specify what portion that will be slow motion AND actually save the result including other "bells and whistles", filters and the usual host of editing options - but without the FULL slowing of the video, that the phone actually allows, was an app called "Videoshop". If anybody finds something better, I'd like to know
