Try after each steps for working of voice directions in google map.
Step 1,
Open google map menu settings.
Scroll down to sign out of google map.
Switch off device for ten seconds.
Switch on device.
Sign in to google map.
Go to settings >storage>cached data>clear cached data.
Tap language and switch between language and select language.
Go to settings>storage>apps>google text - to - speech engine>
clear cache>clear data>uninstall updates.
Open play store>>menu>my apps and games>
update google text - to - speech engine.
Reboot /restart device.
Step 2,
settings>language&input scroll down to Text - to - speech output tap on.
Next screen Tap on the gear icon>language.
Switch between languages and select the same language.
If the language is other than default language.
Tap on" install voice data" button.
Uninstall voice data and reinstall voice data.
Reboot or restart device.
STEP 3,
Go to settings>storage>apps>google play services
uninstall updates.
Open google drive or inbox.
This prompts to update play services.
Settings>>>>>google map >uninstall updates.
Open play store>menu>my apps and games.
Update google map.
Reboot /restart device.
