Help package installer

My tablet is a visual land 10in. After I download anything,then click to install,I get the message: unfortunately package installer has stopped. Plz make reply as simple as posibble as I am old at not very techy. Ty for any reply.

Could be the software misbehaving. Try resetting it to factory defaults, backup anything important first.

Where are you downloading the apps from?
