Cool beans man, I'll gladly test out anything I'm able to which I can handle most things considering I don't have steady pc access atm. Funny thing is I actually have 2 g4's by a freak accident / mistake, a Samsung Galaxy Centura I found on the side of the road, 3 L70's (ms323, cricket, & verizon) my bro gave me, a Gpad 10.1 & moto droid maxx that's shattered but fixable... All these piled up in a drawer but only the couple cheaper ones have roms... I end up with an xtra g4 for free but they are complicated roots and risky with no roms yet.. Just can't win lol[emoji23] [emoji23] id trade a g4 for a g3 or nexus 5 just to have something with heavy development
Well mainly I wanna ideally find a one like the l70 where I can easily root, flash twrp, and flash roms with lil pc if any interaction, that l70 made me lazy till it broke so I want a more powerful toy with as many roms as possible... I'm kinda new to roms and our phones is all I've experienced which is enough to get addicted huh lol anyway thanks for your time, keep porting practice does wonders, take it from a veteran musician... Oh god yessss...thank you I will, this lil phone is all I can flash roms on until I get the money to buy something else, someone will trade me an older phone (don't care what as long as there's a lot of toys for it) for one of my Verizon g4s, or some extremely talented developer magically unlocks that bastards boot loader...there's a 3000$ bounty on xda for the first one to crack it (hint hint) lol jk jk
Oh I probably will I was just goofing off, unfortunately I don't think that's ever gonna happen, everyone's pretty much given up on the verizon g4 , shame it's actually a really good phone. I just wish I had known when I got it what I know now but hey gotta learn some how
Yep I agree, his stuff is some of the best I've seen and actually makes the exhibit a very solid dependable device. I've noticed it is actually built way more solid and durable than the new samdung phones I've seen
OK, Please EVERYBODY READ THIS carefully. Up until about July 2015, I was creating regular builds for the t599,t599n,t599v ( all grouped together as codinalte i.e. cm-12-20141123-UNOFFICIAL-codinalte.zip) So all ROM/RECOVERY marked codinalte, in the file name, where compatible with those 3 devices. During installation, the baseband is checked to figure out which one you have, to install the appropriate blobs. Here is the KICKER, sometime in the past 6 months, a new t599n is was released with a NEW BASEBAND. For these devices, all ROMs marked codinalte will fail. Now, if someone were to modify the the blobinstaller.sh (example below), in the ROM zip and just replace "T599NUVAMD4" with the new baseband, installation would succeed but I do not know if the "old blobs" would work with the new baseband...
