Paid apps installation issue-Google Play

Hi all... I've got an Asus android tablet I have recently been experiencing install problems with. I've purchased several apps from Play that refuse to install. The free versions work fine and there should be enough space. I've tried a factory reset and have allowed installation of apps from unknown sources, tried installing from a pc. Nothing's worked. Can anyone suggest anything else I could try? Help much appreciated, thanks.

Hi, I'm running Android 4.1.1 and it was several different ones including officesuite pro 7, plants vs zombies game, a swipe keyboard and a game called the Battle for Wesnoth. Play Books works fine also.

Hello Kathy welcome to Android Forums.

Witch apps and what version of android are you running?

I will also add what country are you in Kathy? Because what I can think can happen with Play is you log into it on your PC. Pay for the apps there, but it won't let you download to your device because you're in a country where paid apps are not available. I know Google Books can have this problem.

I'm in Canada, and have not had problems previously.... checked that also and Google says it should work. The apps will download but when they try to install I get an error message "couldn't install to usb or storage device" or something like that. I bought some paid games before that are still installing fine, but no recent purchases are working. No issues with Play Books at all.
