Hi, i am curious to find out, i have some paid for apps, if i change my phone will i be able to set my google mail, download and retrieve the apps without having to pay again.

In a word... yes (as you appear to have bought them through the Market).

As 'ironass' says - yes. I had a Nexus One and bought a bunch of apps- then busted my Nexus One and bought a Nexus S. I downloaded all paid apps onto the new machine. Easy Peasy...

The licenses are tied to the gmail account, not the device. If you sync any android device using that account, you can use all paid apps (providing the device supports them).

I currently have a Nexus One, Galaxy S and rooted Nook Color all sync'ed with the same account.
