I'm conducting a small research on the motivations of Android phone users.

This is a genuine request for respondents - as I am curious what motivates Android users and whether emotion have a part to play or not. The findings will be published in my paper.

Umm, the last page said I would get my gift card if I had submitted using an e-mail address. It never asked for an e-mail address anywhere. I feel used.

The questions on the first page are meant to screen respondents, as there is a scope of users I'm focusing on in my research.

As I'm trying not to mislead participants, this is the best way I can think of to screen participants when completing a web questionnaire.

You just didn't successfully meet the survey requirements so no need to ask for your email address.

Thanks for the encouraging responses!

I had gathered enough data for Phase 1 of the study, and the reason for not disclosing the questions is because you'd have spent the time providing feedback in a non-relevant context =) Don't want to waste your time.

I have opened a new questionnaire online, but it is not a paid study this time round. Ran out of money as it is a self-funded research =(

This time I'd require volunteers who have previously used an Android phone before and are not currently using an Android. I.e. people who have decided not to use an Android after some time. Please be honest in the study as the results are significant to conclude the study =)

Kindly help to spread the word around, hopefully the responses will be sufficient even without token sum. Apologies in advance as I've ran out of money to fund the study, thus will need to reply on volunteers.
